About the Event

AGENCY: Vote with her is a project supported by the European Parliament and coordinated by the European Network of Migrant Women. Through the Agency project we aim to mobilise some of the migrant communities in 14 EU states to engage in the European Parliament election, with a specific focus on supporting politically motivated women with migrant background to meaningfully participate at local, national and EU level in the preparation for 2024 EU elections.
On November 28, 2023, in the context of the project, ENoMW will host the event AGENCY: AMPLIFYING MIGRANT WOMEN POLITICAL VOICES in Brussels. The event delves into the challenges faced by migrant and refugee women in decision-making processes, featuring discussions with MEPs, local leaders, and experts.
Sessions explore local politics’ impact on migrant communities, the EU’s role in safeguarding migrant women’s rights, and strategies for influencing decision-making through advocacy and legal action. The day includes Q&A sessions and a personalised group visit to the European Parliament, aiming to bridge gaps and promote meaningful civic inclusion in Europe.
If you can’t attend the event in Brussels you can register to watch it live via zoom by following this link: https://us06web.zoom.us/…/tZAlceChpjMoGteE9HsUTFQSTsV…
