About the Event
As part of our ongoing Y’Academy educational workshops, YMCA Malta is proud to announce an awesome new collaboration with internationally renowned Somatic & Dance-Movement Therapist Helen Ilich.
We invite people from all walks of life aged 18+ to come and explore movement as a form of authentic self-expression. Dance skills are not required: we are not learning steps or routines. Rather, participants are encouraged to dive into their imaginations, under the caring, non-judgemental eye of Helen and their fellow participants. We will use art to build resilience, work through whatever may be holding us back, and come away feeling total at peace in our wonderful bodies.
Helen Ilich is a Somatics & Dance-Movement (Psycho)Therapist and Movement Coach. Her training and experience spans Dance-Movement Therapy and a spectrum of other movement disciplines. She works between Malta and Australia, facilitating Dance-Movement Therapy for groups and individuals. She brings a sense of playfulness and innovative perspectives into the psychotherapeutic movement, holding space for others to explore themselves.
