About the Event
Now in its third edition, this is the annual SPARK FEST organised by the migrant and refugee-led organisation Spark15.
SPARK FEST is a family day event to celebrate and connect people from all walks of life; young, old and everyone in between. We hope to nurture a space that is comfortable, joyous and creative; we will gather together in the hopes of nourishing new connections.

We have created SPARK FEST to mark World Refugee Day when people can reflect and cherish being together despite the hardship endured by asylum-seeking and refugee communities.
For us, integration is key; we believe that people can share a common experience that unites them. We will connect locals, ex-parts, migrants and refugees through a day full of activities. We will have:
4pm – 8pm: Face Painting, Juggling, Arts Workshops and Bouncing Castle for Children and Family’s.
5pm – 7pm: Networking Speed Dating amongst NGOs and the public
7pm – 11pm: African cuisine by Afro Deli and Coffee
8pm – 11pm: Live Music and Dancing to end the Night
For this year, SPARK FEST will be the closing event of the week-long festival Refugee Week Malta!
SPARK FEST is supported by Flutter, UNHCR, St Johns Rescue Corps and the Community Police.
