About the Event

National Youth Parliament (NYP) is a KNŻ eventthat has been organized for more than 20 year. Once again, the National Youth Council will beorganizing the National Youth Parliament on Tuesday 27 September 2022. This activity gives young people the opportunity to experience the most basic procedures of the Maltese Parliament for a few weeks. The themes for this year are:

– For those from 16 to 16 years: The Stations of the Political Parties

– For those from 16 to 30 years: Abortion During the summer, the young people will have the chance to create a resolution on themes selected by us in order to eventually present them during a parliamentary session towards the end of the summer.

Before the session itself, some workshops are also held to help the participants develop their skills. After the resolutions are agreed to by the participants in the session, they are presented to the President, the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition. Click on the link to apply:
