About the Event

Our next event in this series of summer get-togethers, which will be again held at Salina Nature Reserve, will happen on Friday 18th August starting at 7pm and finishing at around 9pm.
Once again we will be covering two very different but equally interesting topics. Stanley Gatt from the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) will give us an overview of the history of environmental legislation in the Maltese Islands, focusing on habitat and bird protection. Well-renowned wildlife photographer Mr Guido Bonett will follow up with a presentation titled “Eight legs, six legs, four legs and no legs too”, through which he will take us on a journey in the fascinating world of insects, reptiles and amphibians, amongst others.
Once more entrance is totally free and open to all. Please mark yourself as ‘GOING’ on our Facebook event so that we get an indication of how many participants we should expect! Following the presentations, participants can then unwind on the Salina terrace where drinks will be served
Date: August 18th, 19.00-21.00
