The current situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and in Gaza is so alarming and worrying, that we must keep a spotlight on it. In the face of the current genocide in Gaza we tend to feel alone and totally powerless. Hence, we believe it is important to express our solidarity with the Palestinian people in any way possible. We cannot and we should not stop talking about these atrocities.

 Ċine-Palestina will be showing two recently-released films concerning Palestine. After each screening there will be a short discussion about the film and the current situation, as well as nibbles and drinks from our bar.

 Farha (2021) – 26th November, 18:00. Farha tells the story of the 1948 Nakba from the perspective of a young Palestinian girl.

 Gaza (2019) – 3rd December, 18:00. A beautiful portrait of everyday Gazan citizens, leading meaningful lives amid a choking Israeli blockade and constant Israeli aggressions.
